I am going to go through things that I need to improve and how I haven been working on it and how I will continue to work on it. I want to be aware of my weaknesses and improve them
I need to work on being more organized. I have a planner and create a to do list. I need to make a list for the day, week, month and year. I want to set a goal and be able to check them off as completed. I want to create a goal for the day
I need to improve my job status. I have a job while other people are not working. I am not happy with things but I can change them. I am not using my degree towards the job I have. I have a professional degree so I need to work on moving up.
I need to work on my confidence with positive thinking and creating a positive outlook. I need to stop speaking negatively and speak of only
I need to work on my time management skills and work on things that are productive vs. nonproductive things. If things look like they will not be worth my time then I need to stop doing these things
I need to be more happy as well as appear happy. I need to fake it until it is actually there. I don't want to be seen as this person that complains all the time or criticize everyone. I need to work on offering compliments and congratulating people on their success
I need to work on my interpersonal skills and building relationships. I need to work on being a great conversationalist. I need to put myself in environments where I have to meet new people and engage in conversations with other people.
I need to be more assertive and work on standing my ground without being aggressive. I have made mistakes in the past where I have stood up for myself but in a loud manner.
I need to work better on money. I want to open a separate bank account and have a percentage of my pay sent there and save money in that other account as if it doesn't exist
Work on my creativity and learning something new
I want to try to grow a strong skin and be less sensitive to mistreatment and be a stronger person
What I like about myself?
My strengths are too far and wide. I have many weaknesses but I can use my strengths to improve them. I feel like everyday is a journey of self improvement to become a better person.
One main things I am proud of myself is my determination. I start something and I complete it. I set a goal and I work hard with over a 100% completion goal. I am better at talking about things I am proud of than about my weaknesses. With my main strength of determination, I feel like my goals will be easy to obtain. I created a goal of being able to get to 20 minutes of cardio non stop within two months. It has been less than two months and I am doing 45 minutes of it. I have been almost two months of consistent working out. This main strength will be my main reason for my success.
Another strength I have is empathy. I am able to feel for someone help them out when they are in a time of need and listen to them. I find myself good at making them feel better when they are down.
I have also worked on improving my assertiveness. I use to allow anyone to say or do anything and each time I have improved my ability to stand my ground. Even though there is room for improvement I am proud of my improvement.
I am also happy with my degree and determination to go through with both of them without dropping out
I am also proud that I was able to travel a couple of times and excited for my future travels
I enjoy my family and the fact that I am seeing them more.
Another thing I have seen improvement in is my bravery when it comes to walk up to new people
I also conquered my fear of driving and now I am doing freeways and one day I will be confident in having a job that will require me to drive on the freeway
I am able to speak up more than usual. I speak when I know when I want a promotion. That is how I got my position is by speaking up.
I know I have more strengths and weaknesses. I will write another article about more positivity another time.
